The packaging first of all is awesome, there are 2 separate layers of closed cell foam that are cut out for the receiver and the mics. I feel very confident about the safety of the system if I travel with it in the box. It literally took less than a minute to get the mics synced up to the receiver once i turned everything on. Haven't done a serious range test yet but i walked all around my house and had very minimal dropout and no noise whatsoever. With the batteries in, the mics feel pretty solid, the only part that I'm worried about is the plastic battery cover that screws on at the bottom. If these get dropped on the bottom I think that part may crack, so I'm going to put some covers on the mics for a little more protection. I have used several sets of vocopro mics (for karaoke) and these are at least as good if not better. They definitely have better feedback resistance.
